Hi Julia,I wanted to let you know we received the muzzle. It is a very good fit, plenty of room for panting, but also snug all the way around the upper area (where the leather/cushion on top of nose is and on the sides of jaw area). We put it on Ike (our Doberman) for just a couple of minutes the first time and walked around out in the driveway - he seemed OK with it and did not totally freak out or try to paw or rub to get it off. We will continue to introduce it to him to get him used to it, but I think it will be a great solution for public areas with small dogs (he is very small dog aggressive). Thank you for the extra clarification of the fit/style - I really appreciate your service!
