Stitched and soft padded back plate for leather Pitbull harness

Heavy duty stitched and riveted walking and tracking dog harness for Pitbulls. We offer this popular handmade, non-restrictive type harness, because of its superior design. People who do a fair amount of biking, tracking and walking with their dogs enjoy using this harness without chest plate. The design allows all harness straps to follow the contour of the body of the dog for unbeatable comfort and full range of motion of the head, shoulders and all four legs. The harness adjusts to fit your dog as he grows and changes. All the straps are carefully stitched to provide hours of continuous comfort in the field. We use only handmade brass plated D-ring tracking line connections that will never rust.


The harness does not restrict the air flow of the dog in any way. This is an extremely important feature on a tracking harness during long tracks where the dogs need all the help they can get. In fact this is the main difference between an agitation harness. The agitation harness has a padded breast plate to cushion the dog when it hits the end of the line while doing protection work. The dogs need this cushion to absorb some of the shock of a tie out. This breast plate causes too much of an air flow restriction to be used in long police or Search/Rescue tracks. An agitation harness is also too heavy for long distance tracking. This well stitched walking and tracking harness is available in black, brown and tan ($10 extra for brown color)

Medium:

• around the neck of the dog (green color on the picture):13-23inch (33-58cm)
• around the chest behind the front legs (red color on the picture): 25-38 inch (63-95cm)

Large:

• around the neck of the dog (green color on the picture): 17-27 inch (43-68cm)
• around the chest behind the front legs (red color on the picture): 27-42 inch (68-105cm)

Extra Large:

• around the neck of the dog (green color on the picture): 24-33 inch (60-85cm)
• around the chest behind the front legs (red color on the picture): 32-50 inch (79-125 cm)

Good afternoon,
I received my harness today and I must say that it is definitely a beautiful piece of equipment!  I was disappointed, at first, because it took a while to get here.  I was expecting it to come much faster, as your website never mentioned that it was being shipped from overseas, but I will say that it was worth the 10-day wait!  I would recommend, however, that you INCLUDE THAT INFORMATION ON YOUR WEBSITE.
